Let’s talk spacing. You only need about 2′ feet between each blueberry plant. Below is another DiMeo Blueberry Farms video clip to show how our family farm spaces blueberry bushes. NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE HIGH RIDGES LIKE THIS WHEN YOU PLANT. OUR FAMILY HAS THEM PLANTED THIS HIGH SO THE BLUEBERRY PICKING MACHINE CAN GET THE BERRIES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PLANT FOR THE LAST PICKING. Each of our family’s blueberry plants are picked about five (5) times: 4 times by hand, and then the last picking is picked by machine.
